The acquisition expands Campbell Oil Company’s fuel services further across Sampson County and surrounding areas while preserving the trusted, local service Smith Oil Company customers have relied on for years.
The acquisition strengthens Campbell Oil Company’s presence in southeastern North Carolina and allows the company to offer an expanded portfolio of fuel, propane, and service solutions to residential, agricultural, and commercial customers throughout the region. The transaction reflects Campbell Oil Company’s continued commitment to partnering with independent, family-owned fuel businesses seeking a thoughtful, values-aligned ownership transition.
